French Country Console Table

The console table you love with a new look!  The rustic yet elegant look will be the perfect addition to your decor, and no one will ever know your secret! Solid American hardwood body (brown maple) with Elm top features a special attention to detail.  The body is painted gray, then painted white, then hand rubbed to reveal the gray below on edges and corners.  The top is solid 1 1/4" thick elm with breadboard ends and held together with dowels. The top in the photo is stained in Antique Slate.  NOTE! It is normal for this top to expand and contract with variations in temperature and humidity.  This should be expected.  Both side panels drop down to reveal secret compartments adequate to hold smaller items, and also allows access to the long rear compartment.  Graceful French country legs and one shelf below finish the look.

 

Overall dimensions are 52" long x 17" deep x 34 1/2" high.  Side secret compartments measure 11" long x 3" deep x 6 3/4" high.  Rear compartment measures 46" long x 3 1/2" wide x 6 3/4" high.
